cloud 9 wedding: Stefanie & Jon at Arrowhead Golf Course

I was so excited when Stefanie and Jon told us about their Indonesian wedding plans- the vibrant colors, authentic items that she and her mom brought back from their last trip to Indonesia, music and custom made gown by a renowned Indonesian designer. The guests’ first glimpse into what they could expect at the wedding came in the form of a custom letterpress invitation that resembled an airmailed letter.
The ceremony and reception took place at Arrowhead Golf Course. The bride looked absolutely stunning in her gown with the gold beading across the bodice. The bridesmaids’ bouquets incorporated Indonesian fans with fuchsia orchids. The ceremony chairs were sprinkled with fans to keep the guests cool. For the cocktail hour, the Gamelan Tunas Mekar musicians played the gamelan which are bronze-keyed instruments and tuned gongs that are struck with various wooden and padded mallets in interlocking flurries of sound that are also supplemented by double-headed drums and bamboo flutes. The guests were completely enthralled!
Once the guests were invited in for dinner, they were treated to Indonesian dancers that were mesmerizing. Authentic pashminas were on every other dining chair along with pashmina lanterns that were around the perimeter of the tent. It was truly an amazing evening and we were so honored to be a part of it!
